I just finished changing the screen on my iPhone 7 plus how ever when I try turning the phone on it doesn’t want to turn on? Any suggestions? I’m assuming its not the battery because this phone was working before I opened it
So many possible reasons behind this. Long screw Connect LCD while powered on makes components related to the light circuit must be fused. The battery might be sleep connect the charger and check. LCD itself is faulty.
Hi Jay, Okay, so maybe it’s time to see if going back to the beginning will put things back the way they were. I’d suggest undoing all of your careful work and replace the original screen to see if the fault is related to the screen or if it’s something else. Make sure you disconnect the battery before plugging and unplugging the display; screens can be sensitive to the power being on when they’re connected or disconnected. The obvious source of problems would normally be considered to be the thing you changed, so let’s take that out of the equation by putting the original screen back on. If it works with the old screen, then you’re done; you’ll need to return the replacement as defective and get a new one. If the behavior doesn’t change, then we need to take a different approach and try to pin down what happened during the screen replacement. So start there with the old screen and let us know what happens.
