Hello, can anyone help. My son has an IPhone SE refurbished purchased 2.5 months ago. It has stopped receiving a signal via SIM card, carrier said there is nothing wrong with the SIM as it’s fine in other phones, Apple have said it’s a fault of the phone. I have been told it’s possibly the IC that’s gone wrong but I am shocked it hasn’t lasted very long, the company I purchased from offer warranty but not covering IC as it’s accidental damage, I fail to see this as they haven’t even looked at the phone. Any ideas thanks
The company should honour the warranty as the ic failing is not accidental damage. I’d threaten them with trading standards. If you dial *#06# does the imei number show on the screen? If it does, find a imei check online, put the imei in and see if its been blacklisted. Also check to see it has the latest update.
