So searched for capacitor short and almost all the capacitors around the GPU show short. At “TP1100” I am getting 13 Ohms and at “TP1120” I get around 30 Ohms. Its really strange and I’m not sure what to look at next. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!! Not 100% sure on boot loop since there is no display but when I hook it to power supply and hit the power button current draw is typical for booting but never steadies and phone doesn’t beep or vibrate. PLEASE HELP!!!!!
Those readings are within normal ranges. Those two lines are very low resistance lines (as they pull a lot of current). If your phone is not booting, try disconnecting everything except the charge port and battery and connect it to a tool like 3uTools to see if it boots. If not, then it could be a bad charge port or logic board. Rule out the charge port first and then focus on the logic board next. Check all of the PMIC outputs and the all of the Baseband PMU outputs to see if anything is off. A true short would be < 1 Ohm.
