Chosen Solution

Hey all - not sure if anyone can point me in the right direction but i’m looking for a solution (maybe a professional who is an expert at repairing motherboards for iphones). I have been to a couple of local phone repair places and they either didn’t have the correct tools for this type of job or did not think it can be fixed. A few of them have tried and likely made things worse. From what I am told there is a short somewhere in the IC chip and it requires soldering to fix. I have some important data I need that can only be recovered from the phone itself so I am looking to fix the existing motherboard at any cost. Anyone know who I can contact for this or what my next steps should be?

Since it has had prior repair attempts I would consider getting an online quote from someone like iPad-rehab. They might be expansive but they will work with prior repair attempts and I think they have started doing CPU transfers so you will have a very high probability of retrieving your data. On their quote form supply as much information about the phone as you can.
