I have an iPhone 6 that needed a new screen. I replaced the screen and now the phone won’t go to its max brightness. I’ve tried multiple screens and all still won’t reach max brightness. The phone works fine it just is only about as bright as half setting on the slider. I accidentally left the battery connected/ phone turned on while trying the other screens. Does any one know what is wrong or how to fix it?
Hi, You’ve pretty much acknowledged your own mistake in this question, “I accidentally left the battery connected/phone turned on” Doing this means you have blown the backlight partially, you would need to know how to microsolder in order to repair this issue. :-)
