Good day to all, I started to have a problem with my phone today. All of a sudden it just started to loose power. I don’t get the normal shutdown icon, it just goes blank. The battery shows 78% and looks fine, although when the phone is connected to the power cord it doesn’t it exhibit such behavior. Whenever it’s connected it’s fine. I took it to the repair store and they told me that they were not sure what the problem was and asked me to restore the phone and set it up as new. I just finish restoring and still get the same problem. Could it be battery even though it’s showing that there is 78% charge? Thank you for help.
Hi Dookius, It could be the battery. It could be something else especially (but not only) if your iPhone was dropped, splashed with liquid, or charged using a cheap charger, or went through a repair lately. Best thing you can do first is replace the battery using this guide and let us know what happens.
