I just replaced my Iphone 5s battery because it would say 40% or something like that then randomly shut down. So I replaced the battery and the whole screen this morning. Booted up normally, home button worked just not he touch ID because it is not the original home button. Then, every few minutes it’s been turning off and the apple logo shows up as it boots back up. I have factory reset the phone and checked my connectors. I was very careful with my screws to make sure they went back into the same places as they were before. Right now, I have it plugged in and it still keeps resetting. Any ideas? Thank you!

It might be a faulty new battery or it might be some capacitor has been pried away by mistake when you removed the battery connector..there are a few around that area and they are very tiny and easy to be removed. You’ll need a strong light and good magnification to verify they are all where they should be.

Maybe its linked to touch id. Try following this guide, it shows how to transfer home button starting at step 9. iPhone 5s Screen Replacement
