Chosen Solution

I’ve been having my 6 plus for about a year now and it’s never really acted up before, aside from freezing every once in a while, which would be quickly resolved by turning it off and on again. Though, for the past month it’s gotten progressively worse. Now not only will it completely freeze, it will randomly begin opening apps and clicking all kinds of things. The tech staff at Best Buy said clearing out some space in it and resetting settings would do the trick, but after clearing out many texts, phone call history, pictures, and apps, the problem still spiratically makes my phone useless at least once a day. I’ve been referred to the Apple Store, but the nearest one is an hour away, and you know how hard it is to make an appointment with Apple.

Still under warranty? Get the phone replaced. Otherwise sounds like screen is faulty might want to check for water damage inside and unplug proximity sensor cable and see if the issue still occurs. Note that opening the phone will probably void warranty.
