I accidentally dropped my Iphone in the ocean and tried to turn it off but wet fingers prevented me from doing that until I could dry them off. Now that its off I tried to put it in rice but accidentally pressed the power button. Now its trying to boot up but turns off immediately with the apple logo having some screen blurs/trails. Any ideas on turning it off.
You won’t be able to recover a liquid damaged phone with rice, which is absolutely useless. Unless the phone fell in the purest demineralized water, drying it makes things even worse by concentrating minerals even further and those are what kill electronics. Sea water is among the worst and even skillfull techs with the best possible tools usually don’t put their hands on water damaged phones except for data recovery.
