Hi guys how are U I had a problem with my iPhone 5 Suddenly, the motherboard started to overheat and battery drains from 100% to 0 in 2 hours and turn off When I want to charge, it doesn’t charge. I need to pull the screen out and remove battery and disconnect the charging port and connecting them another (I tried a new battery too but the same problem happens), I even tried another charging port.
Its a problem with the charging system of the phone. There are filters/fuses that can pop or get damaged. Its a fairly common thing and you are describing the symptoms to a tee. The repair can be done but does require micro soldering skills and equipment.
