force restore with just the home button ONLY i have an iphone 6 that allows restore mode with a single press and hold of the home button ONLY. When plugged in it loops between a white (light blue?) screen w/ black apple for approximately 7.5 sec and black screen for approx. 3 seconds. These times seem to be consistent over hours of observation. I’ve replaced the battery. Additionally, while in restore mode It DL’ed and entire 2.8 gig through itunes to completion (done). It originally went in for a screen problem and that is what i suspect is wrong with it now. It was subject to an inept repair with loose battery and things missing. Might be time for me to give up on it even if it disappoints my grandson.
