Chosen Solution
Hi I changed a screen for iPhone 4, and when I turn it on, it says “iPhone is deactivated, try again in 21 713 164 minutes”. I have never experienced this before, do you have any answers to why this happens - and what to I do ?
Sounds to me like your iPhone is deactivated due to a wrong passcode entered check Apple’s Solution first. as in way i honestly do not know. Since I think it’s the Passcode lock, simply restore in Recovery or DFU mode If you connect the phone to the computer it is synced to it will unlock the phone. You will still need to enter the pass code to get in but it will reset the time. Or you can try to restore your iPhone in DFU mode. Open iTunes and connect the iPhone via USB. Press and hold the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button at the same time. Continue holding the both buttons for 10 seconds. Then release the Sleep/Wake. Keep holding the Home button until iTunes pops up that it has found an iPhone in Recovery Mode. Your Screen should be dark. Sometimes it may take a few attempts to get the iPhone into DFU mode. There is more info on here You should now restore your iphone. Of course always make sure that you triple check your work for any loose connections, cables not properly seated etc….Good Luck
