My iPhone X suddenly turned off and wont reboot unless I update it using iTunes or restore it, and every time I try to update it the phone unplugs it self from the PC several times and then I get this message “iphone could not be updated error 4013”

In what condition is the battery? Is the iphone repaired in the past? Try to disconnect flex cables from logic bord like front face cam, back cam and screen, just dock connector and battery connected to logic bord now connect to itunes and try to update or restore your device.
