Chosen Solution

Hello, So I got this iPhone SE a while ago and it ran into some issues. The iPhone randomly turned black and weird lines appeared on the screen and it reboot, after showing the Apple logo, t would get all messy and reboot again. It would do that a few times then boot up again. This happened quite often. After a while, the iPhone was working fine and out of mowhere it shut off and it stayed that way. No, holding home and power button doesn’t work. So I decided to try and restore the iPhone. I plug the iPhone onto my PC and it recognizes the iPhone and asks me if I want to restore it, but nothing shows on the screen. So I continue to restore it. After a while the iPhone turns on, shows Apple logo and then the loading bar shows, but as soon as it starts filling up, the iPhone freezes and it shows Error (35) on iTunes. I did a quick research and this seems to be an hardware issue. What I want to know is what is it? Does a battery replacement fix this? Let me know. Thanks in advance.

I doubt a battery issue is causing Error 35. The real question here is what has happened to the device over time. It sounds like you are not the original owner so it may be difficult to know the full history. The first thing to try, if you want to troubleshot this yourself is to try a known-good replacement screen. If that doesn’t work, then you could try disconnecting various peripherals, such as cameras, sensors etc. (always disconnect the battery first) until you essentially have just the logic board, battery and lightning port. You can connect the phone to a software tool like 3uTools to see if it is booting or not. If the phone is still not working properly, then you probably have a logic board issue.
