My battery has gone bad, and today I took it into Best Buy to see about having the battery replaced. My phone cycles between the red dead battery symbol and then tries to boot and the apple symbol shows. Then it restarts. Best Buy “tested” the phone and told me that the phone is shot and they won’t replace the battery. Is this BS, or is the phone really toast? Thanks!

there could be multiple reasons why it does this, but im sure best buy either cant be bothered checking to see if its a battery issue or they know the fault is logic board related and dont have the skills to repair it. the other reason could be if they replace the battery and it doesnt resolve the issue you could possibly blame them for not repairing it properly or installing a bad part. try taking it to an independant technician to find out what the issue is.
