Chosen Solution
I replaced the screen on an iPhone 8, after the replacement screen booted up just fine and worked, however it wouldn’t charge so the phone died. iTunes does not recognize that my phone is plugged in when I use a PC. I checked the components near the battery connector and all seem to be there and intact, unless I’m missing something.
What could be the issue that is not allowing this phone to charge? Thanks :)
If you are sure you didn’t knock any components loose and the dock FPC connectors are not damaged I would say it would be your dock connector. You will need to rule that out first before moving to the logic board.
