Hey everyone, i’m having a really weird problem with an iPhone 8 i picked up. I’ve done a screen replacement on it but it takes a long time to start up, and then when it does it runs really badly - Wifi, mobile and apps not working, freezing all the time… But then when I disconnect the front facing camera flex everything is fine again. Do I just need to replace the front facing camera flex or is there something else going on here? Let me know lol. quite bizzare
Replacing the front camera flex assembly will fix your problem. It is a common problem after a screen replacement.
