I was replacing a friends iPhone 8 back glass the housing was bent so when I

placed a weighted object on top of the phone for the adhesive to bond the screen started flashing and became unresponsive to touch but then around 5 minutes later now responds to touch but there are still vertical lines on the screen I don’t know if it is a screen problem or an IC connector problem or a motherboard problem please help me the first picture shows it initially but the second shows after 5 minutes and the third shows the bent frame

Hi Iv seen this a couple times and this issue really show how fragile LCD displays are I think your display has been internaly damaged ,not cracked but damaged I’m order to confirm this I would try unplugging the the display and reconnect it and see if the issue persists Also try bleeding the battery down till dead as iv had this issue with iPods having battery static after having them unplugged or replaced Hopefully this helps Thanks:-)
