Got a badly damaged iPhone 8, was turning on NO IMAGE. Fixed by replacing c5706, Now getting a charging icon and an Apple logo but once the system turns on there’s no image… Only the backlight remains on

This can easily turn into a rabbit hole especially if you start replacing components. For an iPhone 8 with this symptom I would first check the connector, it might look all right but I have been trolled by this once before. Have you got your iBridge yet?  Second from experience I would remove the CPU shield and check the CPU coils for cracks. Then put pressure on the CPU and see if image appears. Remember the touch connector has a couple of image lines to. I would also check the proximity line as I have seen this pull the image down upon finished boot. Finally check you are getting your display boost “PP6V0_DISPLAY_BOOST” Could be a problem with chestnut. Good luck.
