Chosen Solution
I have an iphone 8. The screen broke about a year ago and I have tried replacing it twice with 2 iphone 8 lcd replacement screens assuming the first screen was bad. Neither screen works on the phone. So i had a 7 screen that looked very similar and figured i might as well try it.. it works but doesn’t fit quite right. Anybody run into this? Model number is MQ6L2LL/A
Don’t use different model screen on it, you’ll end up damaging the screen connector on either the logic board or the screen itself. Sounds like a bad batch of screens. I’d try one from a different reputable supplier.
