I have Iphone 7 i dropped it screen is damaged, and the iphone now doesnt come on nor will it charge or be recognized by computer when plugged in. is there anyway to test to see if there is power getting to battery

If you have access to a USB Ammeter, you could use that to determine if the phone is really drawing current when it is supposed to be charging. If your phone is not recognized by iTunes, then you probably have a logic board issue. The best way to verify this is to disconnect the screen (LCD & Digitizer), the Front Camera and sensor flex and the upper cable connector. Follow this guide. Then connect it to an iTunes enabled computer. If it is recognized, then add one flex at a time to see what causes the issue. If it is still not recognized, then you most likely have a logic board issue.

Have you tried charging it for a bit and then connecting it to a PC? Also, after you charge it try hard resetting it by pressing the power button and volume down for about 10 seconds.
