Hi guys. Wondering if you can help. I basically brought a iPhone 7 last year. After running the phone for a few months the person I brought it off reported it stolen. From then it was basically Turned into an iPod with no cellular available and couldn’t get it unlocked to a different network. I believe it was 02 that imposed the lock. Now a year on we have been given another iPhone 7 with a cracked screen of a family member. Other that that the phone is fine. So love you though is can I swap out the logic board from the phone I have just got and pop it in the older iPhone 7? Reason for this is the older one is still in pristine condition and is 128gb…. also is the size of the memory incorporated into the logic board? any advise would be great. Thank you in advance.
Yes you can swap out the logic board/motherboard. You need to also change the home button if you want touch Id to work because they are paired to each other. And the memory is part of the logic board.
