Hello, so I had my iPhone 7 fixed just about a year ago for no power, where they replaced some caps on the logic board and since then, has been working great again. Now, for the past week or two, I have noticed that 3D touch has stopped responding even after a restart and checking 3D touch in settings. Then I started getting inconsistent touch which was really annoying when typing, to the point where it would stop touching completely for a few seconds up to now, where the touch doesn’t work at all. I was wondering if it’s just a bad screen or another logic board issue, considering that 3D touch wasn’t working in the first place. TL;DR : I want to know whether my iPhone 7 having no touch is caused by the logic board or a bad screen.

On the iPhone 7 the touch IC is in the screen assembly. It is extremely rare that it is a logic board issue on this series. Replace your screen and it will most likely bring back your touch.
