Hello, I have an iphone 7 and apparently the bottom mic is recording just static noise and nothing else when recorded with the voice memo apple inbuilt app and other sound recording applications from the store.
The front and the rear mic works perfectly, so normal calling works perfect as well as with siri. But certain apps such as whatsapp, hangouts, duo, during a normal call the other person can’t hear anything but when put on speaker they can. I have used an application (rec lite) which lets u record voice from all the 3 in built mics individually and the bottom one seems to be the issue (only static noise being recorded). Could you please tell me what the problem would be and how could i get it fixed? Thank you so much
The bottom microphone is on the Lightning Flex. You can replace this yourself by following this guide.
same problem i phone 7. Normal voice call work with and without loudspeaker. Video recording too(front e rear work perfect). Problems come out with memo voice app(hissing sound) and whatsapp call, with loudspeaker on it’s ok, normal whatsapp call they cant hear me
