I replaced the display and the battery of my iPhone. The display is a original display with refurbished glass, the battery has no Apple brand. Now every time i am in a phone call, the iPhone shuts down kind of randomly and restarts. Sometimes its okay for minutes, sometimes it restarts after 10 seconds. I already figured out: It happens when using the microphone, e.g. on phone calls, whatsapp calls or even using the voice memos appWhen im on a call or inside voice memos app, press home button and go into different apps I can reproduce it very quicklyThe mic was working, but currently it does produce a noise onlyI never had a restart while using bluetooth headphonesIt doesn’t matter if the battery is full of charge or even plugged into power supplyI never every had shutdown while not calling, and i use my phone very heavily I tried the following so far, Replaced front-camera flex/sensors with new original AppleReplaced the new battery with another new battery from a different manufacturer (both show no capacity in the settings btw.)Unplugged front-camera flexUnplugged taptic-engine, too Hope you guys can help me or give me any hints what it could be :) Panic log: https://pastebin.com/qDJupr9i
I changed the Lightning Connector Assembly and microphone is working fine now and no more crashes. Bought it on eBay, new and original from Apple for 12€. Here ist the guide from iFixit: iPhone 7 Lightning Connector Assembly Replacement But i used this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMh_lOZT… It took some time because nearly everything, except the battery, needs to go out first but there were no problems doing so. The only important thing is to store each screw and part in order so you can reassembly it backwards.
there are a lot of reasons why this can be happening. this happened to my uncle before so here’s what i told him scam caller. ( the main reason) what you can dotake it to a phone repair store and see what they can do.carefully fix it yourself (look up youtube videos on how to do this)
This sounds like a sound ship problem. You may need to have the problem taken to a micro soldering technician to get this done. There are videos on you tube of how to do this but you should take it to a proffesional since it may cost you more in tools if you try and do it yourself. You would need flux, reballing stensil, microscope, reflow station etc. if you have this stuff than look up a you tube video for iphone 7 sound chip repair. Also if you need any help please feel free to DM me I do those repairs at my shop.
