Hi! I’ve just put my iPhone 7 into recovery mode and pressed ‘restore’ in iTunes. Everything looked fine (although the phone didn’t show the ‘connect to iTunes screen). After about 10 minutes the phone rebooted while iTunes was still downloading the software update. The phone remained the same, nothing changed on it. Did anyone experience something like this before? What should I do now? I haven’t tried DFU mode yet.

@william2001 That makes a bit difficult to speculate on the issue you may have, as no previous history is available. When a restore cannot be performed that’s usually because of some hardware fault, on the iPhone 7 the audio and data communication are relatively common and could both prevent a full restore, but without knowing past history it could as well be a previous repair attempt gone bad involving baseband, SoC or ten other different things. Try to restore with 3Utools too, sometimes that succeeds where iTunes fails and viceversa. If that doesn’t help next step would be to open and inspect the iPhone, but unless it was out for sale for spares/repair I’d suggest to send it back to seller if you can’t restore.
