Hi. So I recently did the update that Apple sent out. Big mistake! So the update disabled my audio abilities. I tried regular restarting it. I tried hard restarting it. I tried factory restarting it. None worked! The only way I can talk and answer calls is by using a Bluetooth device. Even though multiple Apple employees told me that the update is the reason, they refused to fix the issue for free. They were charging the same price as if someone broke the phone on my own. How can I fix this issue? Do you sell the replacement parts? Thanks in advance!

No sound on phone calls on the 7 plus would point to the audio IC it is a signature fault with this model. Happening after an update could be a coincidence but I would suspect some of the info the phone needs was already in your systems files but during the update it was unattainable due to the faulty IC traces. If it also has any of the following symptoms it would confirm it. These are the symptoms of audio IC failure on the 7 series. ·         Callers can’t hear you ·         You can’t hear callers ·         Voice memos are greyed out ·         Sound doesn’t record on videos ·         Siri can’t hear you ·         You hear static on calls ·         Speakerphone doesn’t work ·         Phone takes a very long time to boot The audio IC repair requires microsoldering as jumper wires need to be installed.
