Question for any repair guy here or anybody. Can I replace the screen on iPhone 7 Plus with aftermarket screen or third party after upgrading to ios11,I heard many people had issues with boot loop,screen freezing,home button not working or any issues. Is there posible to repair this iPhone with different screen and what do I need to do to prevent those issues? Thank you in advance,god bless you all.
The issue with the screen, from what I’ve experienced/read, is random. However since upgrading to IOS 11.1 or greater, I have not come across this issue yet. If you have the original apple screen, that responds at least, I would have it on standby if the aftermarket screen doesn’t work. I’ve also read others installing IOS 10.3.3 while doing repairs, I was lucky enough to not have to do this. Just saw this in the thread right below yours, take a lot at iOS 11 & iOS 11.0.1 Freeze and Hangs!. Hope this helps. Good Luck
