I have an iphone 7+ home button and the touch id is not working. If I buy another iphone 7+ with a working touch Id then replace the screen and home button of my broken one. Will the touch id work?
No, the Touch ID function of the home button is paired to each iPhone. The only way to get Touch ID back would be through Apple or an Apple Authorized Repair Center.
It sucks but every home button is paired to an iPhone so just using another home button wouldn’t work and you’d be stuck using assistive touch to use the home button.
