I swapped out the flex cable on my iPhone 7P. I tested it for functionality before closing the screen down and it worked fine. However, after attaching the screen, the phone wouldn’t show anything on the screen except a bluish glow (see pics). The touch is working and it vibrates and sounds. But no images appear on the screen. Pictures of the front and the back of the screen are attached. Does anyone know what’s going on with my phone? Could it be the display itself, or the backlight filter?

You’ll want to go back and check the connections to make sure they are properly inserted. Don’t forget to disconnect the battery first! Also take a look at the connectors themselves to insure there aren’t any broken pins.

That looks definitely like the LCD is done. Have replaced heaps and that is usually what i see if the LCD is damaged.
