It does not charge anymore, it is not detected in itunes, however if I heat up the battery with a blowdryer it charges on the red battery icon but stays there. Earbuds did not work when it was on. It was playing music earlier then I unplugged my headphones and it stopped working all of a sudden. Is it a bad Tristar IC or is it a lightning assembly issue?
It was a bad lightning connector assembly. I charged battery externally with a battery tester and backed up my data.
It could be the charging dock,you should test it before even think about a bad tristar.
