Hi, iPhone 7 backlight has 4 pins. Can somebody please point me to a datasheet or give me information on these pins. (voltage) Thanks!
ANSWER UPDATED: I don’t think there is anything published on the flex pinout. However, the iPhone 7 has one Anode output (PP_LCM_BL_ANODE_CONN) and two Cathode return lines (PP_LCM_BL_CAT1_CONN & PP_LCM_BL_CAT2_CONN) designed into the backlight circuit. There isn’t any direct continuity between those lines and the accessible “pins” because they are probably being treated inside the IC that is on the flex. However, with the screen on, you can probe them for voltage. I measured ~16V.
