Chosen Solution

Hi Everyone. I have an Iphone 7 dead with intel board. The phone absorb current wihout power on. I found the shortage and put out the capicitor , now phone work. I want to know plz, the shortage capacitor is in the img 1. i dont have the donar board, (there is no schematic for intel board so i dont know the capacitor value) If i jump two pads (img 2 - img 3) its a solution??? OR i can use mobile without capacitor and without jumper? Otherwise, i have same board (this is a working mother board) so if i put out the same capicitor and check value with Tester, in this case i verify only Farad and not a MAX voltage can bear this capicitor?? Somebody have suggetion plz ??I m tagging u @refectio SIR :)) Thanks

If it’s a capacitor, then don’t jump it…that would become a short circuit. While you can only safely jump filters; they behave as short circuits in DC voltage (they are resistive in AC), there are no other component types you should short. When you don’t have a suitable replacement capacitor, you can usually just leave it out. Capacitors are usually tan/beige colour, resistors are usually black and very thin while filters and coils are usually a dark gray. The best thin is to probe an identical component on a donor board, preferably with an LCR meter or with a multimeter that can measure capacitors (Farads) or coils (Henry).
