Chosen Solution I have a iPhone 8 Plus that my dad got for free at his work. it does not turn on at all, not even using a wireless charger. I have also already tried force restarting it, plugging it into my MacBook, and cleaning it inside and out. the screen is also cracked and the back is the destroyed but I don’t see how that should impact its funcionality. any help will be appreciated EDIT: I have tried unplugging the battery and plugging it in, which should make it boot loop, but it just stays black...

Chosen Solution Hey, had a guy on campus come to me who was having problems with his charging port, being really dirty or something, so I tried cleaning the port and came to the conclusion to just replace it. After replacing, the phone has problems charging, and won’t charge past 5%. It still had similar problems being weird with the charging when I plugged the old port back in. I bought the replacement port on amazon and did and didn’t do anything wrong in the replacement besides for there was this tiny metal bracket that I didn’t even see on the ifixit guide and didn’t remember where it went but assumed it wasn’t really important....

Chosen Solution A few weeks ago, my phone went for a swim with me in a freshwater lake. Pulled it out, dried it off and opened all ports and put into bag of rice. Chosen Solution I replaced the battery in my iPhone 4s (also unplugged the antenna when I did this), after replacing and reconnecting I plugged it back into iTunes and updated to 6.0.1 (At which point it said there are Carrier Update Settings for my iPhone, I clicked OK) and now I have lost reception completely and just says “No Service” in the top left corner.. My wifi works fine, Bluetooth works fine, everything seems to be OK besides my network reception....

Chosen Solution I installed a new hard drive and Snow Leopard software. Then I restored from Time Machine. Now when I try to add a picture or series of pictures to Iphoto it says cannot import because there is not enough free space on the volume containing Iphoto Library. The problem is the pictures are about 180mb and there is 295+ gb on the drive. Does anyone have an idea what is the problem and how to fix it?...

Chosen Solution There seems to be a loose contact somewhere (or s.th. worse), but after a while working only once in a while, the LCD screen now doesn’t work anymore at all. I’ve tried every kind of twisting rotating etc to eventually get back some contact, but without any success. Chosen Solution dropped and shatter the digitizer and LCD will not come up, I can hear the ipad beep when I plug it in. The alarm that I had set is still beeping so I think the board is still good. I replaced the LCD and digitizer but the LCD just doesn’t power up. Try hard reset–power button plus home for 10 sec. If no, power off. Reseat LCD connector carefully....

Chosen Solution Hi! I just bought this display on eBay, and unfortunately, I found that its USB ports do not work. And as such, I can’t change the brightness (which sucks, because the person who last used it turned the brightness way down). I’ve plugged in the USB cable with the display, but again, I don’t believe it works. Chosen Solution I have Macbook Air 4,2 with broken Th1H and Ts0S sensors. They show -127 C. How can I find replacement parts and fix them? Sensors are not parts that can be replaced, they are inside the logic board. Unfortunately that series is plagued by problems at PCH and memory and although some techs reported some success with reflowing, I’d not recommend it unless one does the attempt for himself in his own kitchen oven....
