Chosen Solution Hi, I have two insects under the glass panel. One is still walking around the other is dead. Is it possible to remove just the glass to get them out? I did this with my last iMac and it was easy to remove and replace. Was wondering if it was possible to do the same with my iMac M1 24"? Any help gratefully received. Chosen Solution In the past two weeks three of keys have fallen off, first the E key which also resulted in one of the clips falling off so doesn’t always stay in place; then the command key which isn’t broken at all but won’t clip into places yet is still flush and now just a few minutes ago the O key is also having the same issue as the cmd Key....

Then in the morning I want to turn it on but the LED on the power button and the the keyboard backlit just turn on and then off again and the laptop won’t turn on. I’ve tried the reset hole on the back and try to press the power button for a long time. but still not work....

Chosen Solution my washer has started beeping repeatedly, showing error code f5. During this it is also clicking and powering its self on and off and the lid lock light is flashing. Touching the control buttons does nothing. After about a half hour it stops and I can start a load but sometime between starting and finishing it starts all over again. I thought being fairly handy with computers I might give it a go- it was a very cheap buy and as a last resort I believe I can part it out and still make money. The iMac is a 2.33 20" Intel Core 2 Duo Machine. Chosen Solution I am attempting to repair the logic board from my mid-2010 iMac (820-2901). The LVDS connector was damaged and two pads were lifted (pins 1 and 2). I have replaced the connector: Pin 1 is a ground pin, so should not be required to make it work and while I have bridged pin 2 to the corresponding via, but according the the board schematics, this is only connected to an unpopulated resistor position (R9050) so should also be non-essential....

I would like to know where I can physically find the model number of the logic board. such as 802 etc. Can someone explain the process so I can do it myself next time? CluelessInSeattle you will find that the 820-XXXX number is imprinted (sometimes silk screened) on the board itself. See example attached. Armed with that number you can then use your favorite online search engine to determine where this board belongs to etc....

Turned my phone on and noticed that after about 10mins the phone would shut off (go into the white apple logo). It would maybe turn off and on a few times before booting back into the logging screen. Just that the motherboard on the optical disk drive and the main motherboard are paired, so you’ll have to keep those together. Otherwise, you may have to go through the difficult process of formatting the HDD, and I certainly wouldn’t buy water damaged Ones (Pun intended)....

Chosen Solution My iPhone 5s got water damaged a while back so I got a new one and the chargeing port in the new one is broke so could I get the charge port out of the old one and put it in this? Or would it be broken aswell? @theoburns no way. You do not know if the port got damaged. Replace it with a quality part that you know will work....
