Patrizio Anytime you have lines in your monitor there are things to check: Is the video card seated properly? Is it the LCD Screen that is bad? (Try connecting your machine to an external monitor and see if you still have the band, if you don’t it is time for a new LCD screen....

The black piece that clamps down on the flex is gone and there is a missing pin....
Chosen Solution Hi, Replaced my left joycons joystick recently and all was good at first. I don’t often use the thing in handheld mode so I didn’t notice. I have been through and checked that no ribbon cables are disconnected. I can’t find a diagram of the left joycon internals and what they do, because I feel like that would help massively. Thanks so much in advance!! The problem might be that when you opened up the Joy-Con you may have damaged the ribbon cable going into the rail....

You are not giving us enough information to help you a whole lot. This sounds like a panel error and would be expensive since it is next to impossible to replace the LCD, but unless we can see if it will only be a guess....
Chosen Solution I have a mid 2007 intel iMac 20" that won’t power on. When I plug the ac adapter in the first led comes on. When I press the power button led’s 2 and 3 come on and the fan spins at regular speed and the optical drive starts up. Led 4 never comes on so I think its an LCD or video card problem. Do I need to test the Psu or is it the logic board or the video card?...
Chosen Solution Hi, I spilled soda on my keyboard (only a little) and the only problem was that some keys didn’t work good, all other components work perfectly. I disassembled all the laptop and clean the keyboard with distilled water. I let it dry and I assembled the MacBook again. Now appears on the screen a picture of the battery and the symbol of the firewire and thunderbolt (I’ve attached a picture)....

Lately I aquired myself a new original magsafe charger 2(85 watt) but sadly this did not help. The macbook won’t turn on and the indication light on the charger stays off. The battery wasn’t its best anymore, I did have a battery service message and sometimes the macbook would go off around 35%....
Chosen Solution I have a Macbook Pro Late 2011 that I replaced display on and upgraded the RAM with PC3 10600 tested it out and did PRAM before putting the bottom cover back on booted no issues. But once I put the bottom lid on, it’ll work for bit then when I turn it back on again it beeps every 5 seconds. When I take the coveroff no issues. I then took the battery out and put the bottm cover back on and had no issues with it turning on and haven’t gotten the beep code again....

My MacBook Pro (Early 08, A1260, 2.4GHz) has a scatched and slightly dented topcase and its keyboard has the US layout. Now both shall be replaced and the new keyboard is supposed to be a german one. Can I buy a topcase for the A1226 and any keyboard that fits an A1226 or 1260 MacBook Pro? Or do both kinds of topcases fit my MBP, but each will only work with the same model keyboard?...

Try plugging in an HDMI cable to an external monitor to see if the Mac is working despite the black screen....

Chosen Solution I want to ask if the 15" LCD 1680x1050 screen from 2011 fit a 15" MacBook Pro Mid 2012 for an upgrade. I have my reasons, mainly because Best Buy isn’t offering that higher screen resolutioin. I want an upgradeable laptop as well hence why I didn’t go for the Retina Display. The RAM and hard drive on the non-retina 2012 MacBook Pros are the only upgrades I’ve heard of....
Chosen Solution Hello! I have an iPhone 7 and I dropped it on water. After that I tried to drain it with hot air and it worked just fine. But, days after it stopped working at all. Battery is charged but when I try to turn it on it gives me no sign, the screen stays black and iTunes doesn’t detect it. Any solution? With water damage, you have to decontaminate the logic board before doing anything else, otherwise there will be latent issues down the road....

Chosen Solution So my friends Mac began to become incredibly slow. He restarted it and it was still slow. The fan was running like a jet engine, so I checked the activity monitor. Turns out, the Kernel_task was using all of my CPU. I googled what it was, but I don’t know why it turned on as the computer is now cooler that the surrounding air. Any fixes? Update (12/09/2019) So I looked at the activity monitor, and the Kernel_Task is still rampant....
Chosen Solution I have a MacBook Pro that won’t respond to anything keyboard wise. Won’t allow to Safe BootWon’t NVRAM/PRAM ResetWon’t let me select a disk in ( ‘alt’) Startup Disk Mode But this will respond to an SMC reset. Trackpad appears to click once but not force click. Anyone got any ideas? Also so far I’ve tried: Disconnected the trackpad cable the keyboard still doesn’t appear to get power as the ‘Caps’ Lock button doesn’t go green, but the machine still responds to an SMC reset....

Chosen Solution Hi My LCD temp sensor on the logic board snapped off. The pads on the board are not intact so will not allow the wires to be soldered. Ive heard there is a way to override the temp sensor by running the temp sensor wire to some other place on logic board (could be a load of BS) but I thought I’d check with the experts here to see if anyone has had this issue and resolved....
Chosen Solution Can’t seem to get it to thread. Are you new to machine sewing? Hopefully you have the handbook (or can find it online). Follow the threading instructions very carefully. There are a few Youtube videos also that should help you, including ones on trouble-shooting. It may well be something very simple you’re not doing right.
