Chosen Solution I’m looking at a couple iPod touches for sale, but they have software that locks it to Mercy Health. Is there a way to completely wipe this software myself, or is it a special version of iOS from Apple that leaves it permanently linked? This config is set on Apple activation servers as part of the business device enrollment, linked to the device serial number or purchase order (in a way also linked to the serial number in the end)....

Chosen Solution I was trying to find a battery replacement for my iPhone 6+ and I found this Crazy iPhone Battery replacement. 2915MAH is the maximum capacity of an iPhone 6+ but this one is 3510MAH… Of course I got interested but I’m still worried because I’ve never heard of that brand. Chosen Solution I got a 5S which is likely water damaged. It turns on but in recovery mode and iTunes got the error 4013 which is in connection with the nand chip as I know. I have read many articles about it and can I just desolder it from the motherboard, clean it, reball it and solder it again? Or do I need to reprogram it with other expensive tools?...

Chosen Solution Some keys not working. George Morgan, this sounds like your keyboard has failed. To change the keyboard, remove the battery as well as the DIMM slot cover. Remove the two M2 screws from the bottom Push down the keyboard a little toward the arrow 2 until the front edge of the keyboard is detached from the keyboard bezel. Lift the keyboard a little in the direction shown by arrow 3 , and then detach the connector 4 ....

Secondly, what are the odds of removing the screen again and not damaging it. Thx. The connectors, when properly seated, can withstand a considerable amount of force. Chosen Solution My friend gave me an iPhone 3GS, he said he managed to get it to boot (not sure if he actually did!) however I’ve found that when plugged in (even overnight) it’s showing no signs of life, the screen is black and there are no sounds or vibrations whatsoever. I’ve taken the device apart and measured the battery voltage, this was 0.16v so completely dead. I though this could have been the issue so to resolve this I remove the battery and charged it up using a bench power supply, it’s now reading 3....

Chosen Solution Hi, I bought a battery from iFixit several months ago to fit in an iPhone 5s. The battery developed issues and would no longer hold a charge. I contacted iFixit, and they agreed the battery was defective and sent a replacement. A few more months down the line, I think I’m having the same problem with the replacement battery. When attempting to charge the phone, it will boot to the lock screen before shutting down and booting again....

Sounds like a board issue where the U2 Tristar Charging IC, a communication chip that controls charging of the battery and power being provided to the phone, has gone faulty from liquid damage....
