I searched the interwebs and couldn’t find anything like this particular part. As shown in the attached image, one side of the part has a circular-shaped impression/depression in it, and the other side is flat. Chosen Solution I note that iPad 2 Bluetooth/Wi-Fi Antenna says its not for the EMC 2560 model, but is there a suitable antenna available somewhere? The connection is the same on them all and the mounting is the same. There are no electronics to deal with, its all analog. You should be good to go....
Chosen Solution Microwave runs but doesn’t heat, with a louder than normal buzz from the transformer. I’ve replaced the diode, the capacitor reads correct value and the magnetron doesn’t read any earth leakage. With the mag disconnect the appliance sounds normal. Would you say the mag filament is faulty, or transformer failing? Relays on the main board will hum pretty loudTransformers can get real loud and the microwave will still heat....
Chosen Solution My Mac gets really hot, so much so that it can’t be touched. The hot spot is just above the keyboard close to the hinge. I took the back over off and turned the Mac on and the area in the circle is the hot spot. It becomes that way almost immediately after the computer comes on. Both the fans are running. Chosen Solution During the startup process my MacBook freezes (start chime comes up and booting begins). Some seconds later it will shut off. When I try to restart the MacBook it turns off immediately. I suppose, that it overheats though the fan is running slowly. Does anyone know how to check the temperatures and/or the thermal sensors? Or maybe there’s some other problem? Please give me a hint. It doesn’t have time to overheat....
Chosen Solution It started out beeping every five seconds with a black screen when I turned it on. I looked the issues and what I found was about resetting the RAM. After attempting to reset the RAM the screen came on and acted like it wanted to power up and then shut off at the last moment. Hi @blades95 check for any oxidisation on the ram contacts, if there were some, use an eraser to rub the golden contacts of it....

Chosen Solution I replaced the housing on my iPhone 6, this was my first time ever doing a housing swap, and after the swap everything was working good except for the cameras and flash, they were just black and the flashlight just didn’t light up. I made sure all the flex cables were seated for the cameras and screen and when I tried again the front camera worked for a bit then glitched out a bit and turned off, and since I can’t get either to work at all....
Chosen Solution My daughter recently cracked the screen on her IPOD Touch 4G. I decided to try to replace it myself and ordered the suggested parts. After following the instructions and doing the install the IPOD will not power on. I opened it up and checked everything and it mostly looks good. There is one part looks to be ripped. I am not sure what it is called but it looks like it might be a ribbon cable of some sort....

Chosen Solution This is an older one of their smart TVs and no longer receives support. That means that many of the smart T.V. functions, such as Netflix, no longer work. For the reason I was wondering if there was any way to replace the OS to their newer one or anything else like ubuntu or linux. Or should I simply buy a roku or apple T.V. or something? @jack_f I’d stay away from hacking the OS:-) I’d try a firmware update from here and see if that would work....

Chosen Solution Hello, the screen on my wife’s mid-2012 MB Air stopped working after having some water spilled on it. The repair guy diagnosed water damage (obvs!) that had fritzed the screen and because of the cost to repair and age of machine my wife decided to upgrade. The old machine sounds as like it boots up ok, you can shutdown normally (judging by sound and changes to the screen tint) and the apple logo is faintly visible when you turn it on....

I didn’t have rice with me but I just thought that it would be okay because I dropped it in the worst ways plenty of times. When I got it out I tried sucking the water out of it (stupid, yeah I know) and it was still on. When I was wiping the phone I dropped it on the floor....
