Chosen Solution My old IPod Touch hadn’t been used for a long time. I guess it went to recovery mode. When i charge it, it displays the apple logo at first and then it eventuaally fades to black. i charged it for a long time and nothing happened. It never turns on. I connected it to my laptop. Now, after the logo it shows the USB cable pointing towards a CD with a beam note music thingy in front of it and ITunes pops up with a message saying that itunes is in recovery mode and needs to be restored and updated....
Chosen Solution On my ipod screen it says “iPod is disabled connect to iTunes”. What do I do to undisable it? Place your device into recovery mode (instructions here) and restore with iTunes. Your device will be wiped, but functional again. Cheers! You need to connect to iTunes using a computer. Turn off your iPod until it is completely off. Press the home button and plug in your USB chord that is plugged into your computer....

(She actually did something similar recently to her 2-year old MBA, but its kinda working, currently replacing the Trackpad there). Anyway, back to this MBP for which I thought why not repair it. I opened it and could spot a place which looked like old coffee ;) Cleaned it up, powered it on, did a few measures, and that one part doesnt look too good - theres also no voltage....

Chosen Solution trying to get data from this phone, like title says its loops 5-10 times then shows no image but backlight stays lit. with only the screen connected its at 230ma and steady after it looped 5-10 times and displays no image. while its looping on apple logo it has both backlight and image. i have ir camera and cant see any shorts and ive probed alot of the power rails all the important ones are there also i tried to update and it failed after sending ramdisk....
Chosen Solution The mac is completely unresponsive even the power button doesn’t work when its off so i plug the power adapter in for it to start up and when it does turn on the apple logo shows up and the loading bar shows up and then it shuts down and does it all over again, if i hold the power button it says keep holding for recovery options and then says loading recovery options then after a bit it shuts down again and boots back up and it is a never ending cycle, it wont shut down unless you unplug the battery....

TY Ts0P = Trackpad flex cable I think you have to look a bit deeper here. I suspect something was spilled into the keyboard/trackpad causing it to error out here. If you’re sure the sensor is gone you’ll need to replace the trackpad flex cable. I would also install a good temperature monitor app like: Temperature Gauge Pro to better monitor the sensors....
