Chosen Solution I screwed up bit time with my mother’s Imac 27 late 2009. The superdrive was broken and making unbearable noises. Plus there was the flickering screen problem. So I decided to tear the Imac down and remove the superdrive. While putting the mac back together, I broke the LCD connector on what I think is the logic board…. Is there something to do else than replacing the whole board?...

Chosen Solution Do i need to replace my power supply or is it just the battery The PRAM will keep your mac from booting and I have heard of instances where it can charge long enough to boot then shut the machine down but I find that instance hard to believe. I would check the power supply out for a bulging capacitor. Something that once its warmed up will cause a thermal issue and fail ....

They are in a row of four, obviously it’s a row of two now for me. lol ;( I have looked online but cannot see why these are there and where to get a replacement. I got a new logic board. iMac powered on and blew the L9000 on the new logic board as well. I don’t know what is happening? i checked the diagnostics leds 1,2,3 light up but 4th doesn’t. iMac powers but no chime that might be Bcz I removed the HD and disk drive....
Chosen Solution Needed to replace clutch. Made mistake of laying machine on side. After removing motor and transmission, I remember something shifting. After repair, machine cyles through and begins to spin up (didn’t before the clutch replacement)everything works fine until she spins up, then thumping/knocking begins. If I recall, it was the triangular thing that shifted underneath, I tired to put back in place when machine was on side, then got distracted and forgot to see what happened....

Chosen Solution Hello, Sorry I chose any device above as I could not find AOC. LcD monitor WJI780PI. Power rating 100-240v-60/50hz 1.2 . It is connected to a DVR4-4580v. There was a power outage which lasted for several hours. When the electricity came on all devices came back on apart from monitor. I swapped the power cable with another and when switched on the monitor power light lights up for a few seconds and then disappears....

I’ve tried the plug in and press power button for 20 seconds then unplug and press power button for another 20 seconds, but that didn’t work. Given enough time, the top-left of the iMac near the ventilation strip gets hot to the touch. It seems to be coming from close to the top of the iMac, so I thought it was the hard drive....
Chosen Solution I spilled a tiny bit of wine on my MacBook. I dried it out and took it apart to inspect for any signs of damage. I found wine witness marks which I cleaned up. I put it back together. Plugged the charger in and turned it on. I then left it to charge fully. But once I removed the charger it turned off. It seems that the laptop draws power from the battery but only when plugged in....

Chosen Solution I have an old Kenmore model 417.94812301 that will randomly not drain after the initial wash cycle. It only started happening recently and does not occur every load but when it does, the full tub spins prior to the rinse cycle and the water splashes out. In my testing if I stopped it during the full tub spin and restarted it with the dial at the same location, it would begin to drain as it’s supposed to....

Chosen Solution My old but reliable Note 3 charged slower and slower and then not at all. Probably due to dirt accumulated in the USB port. I bought and replaced the daughter board that includes the USB port and now it charges quickly. However now the microphone doesn’t work at all, but the speakerphone does when in phone mode. So now I can’t verbally input anything, e.g., text messages, search fields, voice commands…....
