Chosen Solution Hi, does anyone know if it’s possible to replace the click mechanism in a home button. And if so how? The clicking is done by a small switch part of the button itself. It can’t be fixed nor replaced unless the home button is replaced as a whole, losing touch ID function unless it’s done by Apple.

Now once again it is having the exact same issues, has anyone else had a similar issue to this? What did you do to fix it? Chosen Solution Hello, I have bought iphone 6s 64gb, ios 11 off ebay with broken screen, then replaced it with the unit from aliexpress and now when I use my fingerprint to unlock device sometimes it freezes for 5 seconds and sometimes I have to wait until device locks itself to unlock it again. By freezing I mean that device screen works (for example writing cursor blinks) but touch does not work at all....
Chosen Solution So my friend asked if I could try and fix his iPhone X that got put through the washing machine. I told him I’ve never done this sort of thing before – mostly just screen and battery replacements. He said it’s ok because if I cant fix it he can’t afford the repair bill a shop would charge anyways. After fully disassembling it and meticulously cleaning the connectors by hand since I dont have an ultrasonic cleaner, I finally managed to get it to power on but its stuck in a boot loop....

I could play music by pressing the “play” button and could start and restart by pressing the power button. however i tried all i can but the screen is still not powering. someone said it might be the flex/vga that got disconnected.
