Chosen Solution I upgraded my memory to 16GB and now the fan runs constantly and the kernel_task is greater than 100%. The screen no longer works and I may have damaged the screen connector, so I am using an external monitor. Needless to say, my upgraded machine is much slower than when it was 8GB. Update (10/18/2021) Thanks for the answer. Unfortunately my display connector seems to be damaged. Ouch! From the frying pan into the fire....

Chosen Solution our kindle fire has a shattered screen. It still works well but the glass is shattered and we need to know which part to order and how to replace it. If you are able to use it with no color lines or whiteouts, then the only thing that might need to be replaced is the LCD display glass. you can get it on eBay for anywhere from $30 to $45....

Chosen Solution My lawnmower was tipped over & oil was spilled. Cleaned up oil, replaced oil, now mower won’t start. Why? May be that oil got past the rings in the cylinder. This could’ve occurred when it was tipped over, or you may have overfilled it when you added oil. First be sure the mower is not overfilled with oil. If it is, turn the mower up on the oil fill tube side, with a pan in place to catch the oil, remove the oil fill cap & allow the oil to drain out into the pan....

Chosen Solution lcd ones blinking then standby mode? anaz, sounds like a power problem to me. Check for damage to the AC adapter or Cradle (including dirty or damaged connectors/contacts). Check your battery and your contacts for proper voltage when plugged in. Check that it is properly seated. Check your cable to make sure it is working okay. Check the ribbon cables to your LCD, make sure that they are okay....

Chosen Solution New varistor made no difference. If I could repair it myself, it would have been worth it. But not worth paying a tech to fix a 9-year old TV. Used LG’s free recycling program (they paid shipping!). @rbanks88 a definite good repair candidate. Remove the back cover from your TV. Then check all the boards visually for obvious damaged components. Sounds like the ones you are describing are uncommon so we should find a couple of overheated etc....

My LG TV (70LB656V) will work power on and function fine, however, as soon as a movie, video or TV starts to play, the LED backlights will power off after a random amount of time. Try rocking the lawn mower will attempting to shift the gear selector or you can raise the rear end to suspend the tires in the air and move the wheels while trying to shift into neutral. the gears are probably locked and just need to be wiggled to get them to release ....

Chosen Solution Hi Guys, I just updated my Iphone 7 plus to the new ios 11, after the update phone isnt responding as it should, touchscreen is taking years in responding to swipes, same for the apps take !&&* lot of a time in opening up, Sound isnt working either not in calls, ringtones, games or music etc. I reverted back to IOS 10.3 and its all fine but not on ios 11 I had my phone’s screen repaired (aftermarket) because of the damage and I read somewhere its because of that the new ios isnt working I will be very glad for any help plus I live in Pakistan and to my knowledge there is no apple genius bar here....

Chosen Solution Got a badly damaged iPhone 8, was turning on NO IMAGE. Fixed by replacing c5706, Now getting a charging icon and an Apple logo but once the system turns on there’s no image… Only the backlight remains on This can easily turn into a rabbit hole especially if you start replacing components. For an iPhone 8 with this symptom I would first check the connector, it might look all right but I have been trolled by this once before....

The PMIC can be overheating because one of the voltage rails it drives is drawing excessive current caused by a shorted or partially shorted subsystem/component or it could be because the actual IC is internally shorted. Give us more information on how the phone is behaving and its history (impact, water damage etc) and we can offer a more detailed response....
