Chosen Solution I disassembled my ps4 controller to clean it, but when I reassembled both the L2 and R2 doesn’t work. I tried cleaning the contacts and the rubbers. Sounds like you haven’t put it back together correctly. Rubber connectors not lining up properly. I’d open it up and try again.
Chosen Solution I have a ASUS laptop that i have been using for years with no problem. For no absolute reason the headset that i use has a microphone (the SteelSeries Arctis 3 ) and it has been working well, now the laptop only detects the headset as an output with no input, which means that i am not detecting the headset microphone that i intend to use, which is a bad thing because i use it a lot for calls....
Chosen Solution It didn’t have my hp model as an option but it’s a 15-ba049ca . It shows WiFi networks that are available and allows me to put my password in to connect but then it like stops. The available networks disappear and then reappear again but still won’t let me connect. I have no idea how to fix this and would appreciate some guidance on what to do! It appears as if your menu etc. is working and showing as it should. Try all the different video inputs and see if that makes a difference. This could be an issue with the main board (LVDS connections or components) Eventually you will have to remove the back of your TV to look at the cables and the boards....
Chosen Solution Seems to be no info on the internet about this. I guess this would be a partially faulty charging ic gone bad from liquid damage? It charges up fine if the screen is turned on but not when the screen is turned off. Sorry Ben, I just saw this; you should have tagged me. This may be due to one of the “Alive” lines. You should check out PMU_TO_PHOTON_ALIVE (FL2050) or SYS_ALIVE_TIGRIS (PP1V8_SDRAM / XW1401) to see if they or their associated circuits are okay....

It appears that there is a tiny component with black around it on the power board. Chosen Solution I have a Samsung UN65ES6550F television that I heard a crackle then pop and some smoke from the back right side then turned black the other night. Standby light blinks twice five times then pauses and repeats and makes a clicking noise. I took off the back cover and found a burned component on the power board BN4400545A but not sure what it is called. Found a comparable replacement component on shop jimmy and installed but still the same does not turn on standby light and makes clicking noise....

In addition, one of the wheels needs replacing, because a chunk of the wheel has broken off. Not sure if this was caused by the sticky stuff, or if it was damaged when I moved to my current place....

Chosen Solution Hello, My TV has about 200 thin vertical black lines (!3 px across each) running along the length of the screen, perfectly spaced ~1/8" apart. They are clean, not “fuzzy” and are still, they don’t move across the screen. In some parts of the screen when a strong color comes on the screen (usually a dark color) they will disappear and show that small portion of the image perfectly, ie: not dead pixels....

If you were to shine a light on it and view from a angel, you could see the display faintly. Plugged into a monitor with hdmi and it displayed no problem? He doesn’t seem to have ever backed it up (despite my nags!) so the only backup that exists seems to be from 2017 on iCloud (and I’m not even sure about that). No B7000 is definitely not a LOCA, and would not work. Although it work be good for glueing a display assembly down, it would be useless for actually sticking the LCD to the glass.

Chosen Solution I have tried everything SMC Reset, NVRAM Reset, Factory restore. Nothing works. Basically a kernel panic every single time, maybe like 2 mins into boot. Sometimes stays longer. I have also tried wiping the entire hard drive and externally booting with an SSD loaded with catalina install version. During install, when it shows 3 mins remaining, Screen goes black again. Also sometimes the panic happens way earlier, say when choosing the language....
