Chosen Solution This MBP 17" Mid-2007 doesn’t power on at all - no signs of life. Battery is good/fully charged. I’ve tried: swapping memory for known good memory removing internal HD (and internal HD cable) and booting from external drive resetting SMC using different power adapter, and booting from only battery or only power adapter. Power cable light is green, and power flows through to an external drive connected via Firewire....

Chosen Solution Which do you like metal re-ball stencils or nonmetal and please explain why I personally like metal stencils. It offers the advantage of using solder paste which can then be spread on the stencil like butter on bread. Then the solder paste can be transferred to the ball grid array with heat while the stencil is still on top of whatever you are soldering too. It has an advantage over non metal because you don’t need to find the proper size of solder balls to manually load each ball 1 by 1 onto your stencil to then transfer to your grid array....

Chosen Solution I am missing both of the screws on the side panel where the strap is. I took the camera to two different local camera shops, and they could not replace the screws. Where can I get these? Thank you! Cathy, those should be M1.7x3.0mm screws. Obviously metric :-) I would try a hobby shop as well as places like mouser.com or even Radio Shack. If you have no longer at places like that, email me and I am certain of the dozens of cameras I have for repair I could find you a few:-) free of charge of course....

Chosen Solution Due to having just 800Mhz of processor speed, I run my iBook G4 on Tiger, 10.4.11. I realise that tiger is starting to get old so I was hoping that people might be able to recommend some safe, free mods for Tiger to spruce it up a little. Chosen Solution mower doesn’t start when pto switch is engaged Bill, This is normal. The mower should not start with the switch engaged. It is a safety feature so you do not start and operate implements at the same time. It’s best to start it alone and then engage the PTO after. Starting with the PTO engaged will be hard on the battery, and the starter. Regards Frank switch wont start mower unless jumped then blades wont come on with pull switch

Chosen Solution Yesterday, I replaced the battery in my phone and it worked just fine afterwards. But today, the screen has randomly stopped working. The phone still works fine since I can make/take calls, use siri, put in my passcode, but I just can’t see anything on the screen whilst I’m doing it and so I am guessing if I am pressing the right thing or not. The screen doesn’t stay off forever; it stopped working twice today and I just left it on the table and about 30mins to an hour later, it works....

Chosen Solution I’ve performed several iPod surgeries over the years, typically replacing batteries or hard drives. In my latest endeavor, I attempted my first logic board replacement. The existing board was fine; I was upgrading from a 6th gen to 7th gen to maximize the capacity of an iFlash Quad board. I swapped out the logic boards, reconnected everything, and plugged the iPod into my computer. It restored, but the click wheel was unresponsive....

Chosen Solution Hi, I have issues with my 2015 13” MacBook Pro Retina system. No sign of life in my iSight camera. My Bluetooth and WiFi services are also dead. Did you damage the case with a bang or drop near the hinge areas? From the sounds of it I’m suspecting you damaged the Right hinge cables. The iSight camera as well as the Bluetooth & WiFi antenna wires pass through the hinge....

Chosen Solution I’ve been using it for a year and then I started to use net in it after a day when I turn on data screen flikers and screen get frozen and it restarts so it goes on until I put it on airplane mode! But after an update it doesn’t even turning on for a second and starts again and just get froze on choose your language and restarts !...

Chosen Solution So I just got my playstation 5 today and I got the japan model instead of the north american model. Trying to get it sorted but does not look like I am getting a replacement. Chosen Solution LG Refrigerator LFXS28566S The Slim SpacePlus in-door icemaker fills and cycles normally but the icemaker tray does not release the ice cubes. The tray rotates, there is a knocking sound that continues for around 30 seconds but no ice is released. I can get the ice to drop if I open the icemaker door and pound on the ice tray when it rotates down, but that’s obviously not a practical solution!...

Chosen Solution I would like to know the compatible logic boards for a a1261 macbook pro. Can I put a a1212 board? Can I put a a1251 board? Does some 15" logic board fin in my 17" mac? The only drop in replacement for the A1261 are these. Anything else would require creative engineering and no guarantee that it will work.
