Chosen Solution Hello! My iPhone 7 is stuck in a boot loop. I have tried just about everything. I started by trying to replace the FPC connector for the charging port. After changing that the phone was still stuck in the boot loop. Then I tried to replace all the parts with genuine Apple parts including the Front Camera flex, the battery, and the charging port flex. I know it is not the Audio ic because the phone doesn’t stay on the apple logo for more than 10 seconds....

Chosen Solution After a fall, exactly a 1 meter fall that touched the floor with corner of the phone, the screen turned all black, but the crazy thing is that the screen is not broke and the touch works. Chosen Solution My iPhone X keeps restarting and shows 0% battery. Sometimes, when I’m using my phone or when it’s charging it gets back to it’s normal battery. I tried to connect my iPhone with 3uTools and it says N/A for battery serial number. More than likely this will be a faulty battery. You will need to rule this out first before moving on to the logic board.

Chosen Solution will a 6s screen work on a iPhone 6? No, the screens from the 6 series and 6S series are not compatible. Minho is correct…they are not compatible. Different ribbon connections, different thicknesses and 2 totally different screens all together. Not both have different LCDs with the build. So, you can’t use it.

Hello Reed, Yes it is totally safe to soak the board in alcohol so long as it is not energized. Be sure to air dry it or use a blow dryer on it to evaporate the alcohol before plugging it back in....

Chosen Solution Probably I will get nailed for this one, but here goes. I have a 1986 Chevy K20 Pickup. It originally came with a Turbo-Hydramatic 350 transmission. It has a 700R4 installed now, which is shot. Will I be able to re-install a T350 with no other wiring or tubing modifications? Should I just be safe and find another 700r4 and throw it in? Off computer topic I know, but hey do I care?...

Chosen Solution The screen of my MBA is dented. Luckily, it was at the black edge. This is probably because a hard, small object got stuck when I close my Mac. Is it possible to replace the glass/plastic protector without replacing the LCD screen? Unfortunately the retina displays are just not repairable.

Chosen Solution The spec of my iMac is 2.7 GHz quad-core i5 processor with 8GB 1600mzh of ddr3L RAM, and I want to upgrade it to 16GB. I‘ve checked it on the official website of Apple（ https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201191… ） and it says that it’s not removable. But, this website from Ifixit ( iMac Intel 21.5" EMC 2638 RAM Replacement ) shows the steps of changing the RAM and I am confused about this....

Chosen Solution I was wondering if putting in an ipad mini 2 lcd will work with the ipad mini cdma 1st gen. Or are they two different lcd part. The LCD from the iPad mini 2 is a retina resolution screen whereas the LCD on the iPad mini is not, so they are not compatible. What do you mean CDMA? The cellular version of the ipad mini first gen and wifi only version of the ipad mini first gen have the same lcd, so they are compatible....

Chosen Solution My Whirlpool electric built-in oven, Model RBS245. Ran it through the self-clean cycle. Upon completion it would not release the oven door. Also, all LED’s are blank. No Power! Is there a reset button? Update (08/27/2017) Thanks, Mayer I didn’t make myself clear. My oven is a Whirlpool, model rbs 245 and at conclusion of the self cleaning cycle, all power went off. No lights on the LED panel....

Chosen Solution I have a Mid 2010 15" Macbook Pro (with on i5 processor) that recently had a zone of keys stop responding. Using the QWRTY layout: Period, M, L, K, U, I, and O no longer respond. Comma works fine, which is weird. I thought something had spilled on it so I ordered a replacement keyboard. Replacing the keyboard was no small task. I found no evidence of water or coffee…....

Hi, Are the album pictures ‘old’ stored pictures or ones that you have taken since the LCD screen was not working properly? If they are ‘old’ pictures try taking a picture (I know that you cannot see it in the display screen) and then see if it displays either on the screen from in an album or if you can download it and see it on a computer....

Chosen Solution This is for a Sony Xperia z. The phone wasn’t listed on ifixit. Hi my old screen was smashed (but still working) but decided to replace it as I’m semi competent (maybe not) but anyway I’ve done a few screens before and they have been fine. Anyway after putting the new replacement screen on and putting everything back together I turn it on and the whole lefthand side is black From top to bottom, right hand side of screen works fine and even the touch works on the whole screen....

Hi @alsjdkflks, You should be able to buy an alligator clip (example only) and slide it onto the end of the lead. If it is too loose or too tight you can either crimp it on or expand the opening a bit to suit....

Chosen Solution Hello guys, I´ve received an mac mini late 2014 A1347 for repair and it wont turn on. Specs are Dual Core i5 2,5Ghz, 8Gb RAM, 1Tb HD. After I openned it up, I see that the cooler tries to spin but then it stops, checked the power supply from the machine and its giving 12v as it should be, on power supply after I press the power button it goes to 0,4A then zero, then 0,7A then zero again, and it repeats over and over again… HD is Ok, I can boot from it using another mac, Power Supply is Ok, buttons, flats, I´ve already rehoted the RAMs chips that are soldered to the board just to make shure (theres no beep indicating RAM problem…) I dont know what else can it be, anyone can help me with an scheme or an more advanced tech tip?...
