Chosen Solution Found some dark spots at the bottom of the screen. I ordered and installed a new LCD following to the instructions manual. However the new screen did not work on the first attempt. Suspecting a faulty part, I re-installed my original screen to confirm. This time however I smelled something burning from the LVDS connector’s end towards the logic board. I immediately disconnected the battery and everything stopped. I see the plastic on the clip/hook on the connector little burnt....

Chosen Solution I swapped out the flex cable on my iPhone 7P. I tested it for functionality before closing the screen down and it worked fine. However, after attaching the screen, the phone wouldn’t show anything on the screen except a bluish glow (see pics). The touch is working and it vibrates and sounds. Besides that everything works fine (taptic engine works, phone is charging when plugged in etc.) but after a while it shuts down and Apple logo appears on the screen and the phone starts again. Chosen Solution i have a picture and sounds but it has a blue tint to the picture - i have done a factory reset and that hasn’t helped The phosphor or yellow center on the backlight leds crumbles and falls off leaving you with a bluish purple tint to everything on the screen the telltale sign is when your tv is first turned on the vizio logo will have a blue tint and the black screen will also have a purple blue tint… search blue vizio on youtube you can see a vizio torn down exposing the defective leds … I have called vizio and they will not fess up to the defect backlights nor will they authorize any concession for warranty, I am waiting for the class action lawsuit to begin……....

Nope. Only way to erase your data is if you were to physically damage your storage chips or shock the phone. Be sure to open up the phone carefully using an IFixIt guide, and disconnect the battery before you remove the screen....

To prove it you’ll need to connect to an external monitor to see if the problem shows up there if it doesn’t then the either the display cable or display assembly will need to be replaced.
Chosen Solution My work laptop is connecting to my home WiFi but is showing “No internet” so I am unable to do anything. My home WiFi is working as other devices are connected so it doesn’t seem to be an issue with the router. I have tried disconnecting from the WiFi network and erasing all the other WiFi networks as well as servers attempts at rebooting. I also tried connecting via Ethernet cable but nothing seems to be working....
