Chosen Solution Hi! I have an iPhone 8 (Intel version) which acting strange. Phone boots normally!!! Connecting to DC power it draw instantly 0.145 A I checked thermal camera and shows heat spot near sim tray corner where you insert pin to open the sim tray. But there is no Components there. :) Also I checked VDD_MAIN line in continuity it beeps (probably short) Checked voltage on VDD_Main 4.1V it seems ok....
Chosen Solution My friend came in and had me to change his ip 7 screen which wos totally broken . So I changed the screen and everything went great but when I tried to start it the phone didnot startup it started as long until the Apple logo showed up. So I checked all connectors and everything and still the same issue. Then I thought lucky me I have one more spare screen so I decided to try that one and same issue once again....

Chosen Solution I had a damaged white iPhone5 Screen, smashed digitizer and all. Swapped in a black screen kit ordered off of iFixIt, actually had the screen light on the first try but with odd repetitive blocks along the top. Also the front camera was not sitting right, so I pulled it off, put it back together, and now there’s no screen. Power and Mute buttons seem to be unresponsive, it only boots up when connected to the charge cable....

The battery is an aftermarket version, thus making it not OEM or “apple certified”. iFixit charges a bit more for their products because all of their products are tested rigorously. Chosen Solution Whenever the temperature drops around 20 degrees the low pressure light for the spare tire comes on and the tire needs air. The rest of the tires are fine and remain inflated. I’m not talking about it getting cold (below or near zero) it will happen if it drops fro 60 -40 degrees. Soon as you add air it goes out. I’ve had the tire removed, rim cleaned and remounted....
