Chosen Solution I have an iPhone 5c that I have refiently refurbished however when I come to turn the phone on there is no response. I have left the phone on charge and it seems to get warm. It is not the logic board as I have taken the logic board out and tried it in another phone and it works fine. I have plugged the unresponsive phone into my laptop and iTunes is picking it up....
Chosen Solution I bought this previously water damaged phone Online. I went through all the pieces to clean off the Corrosion the previous owner had caused with his little water accident. Today i put everything back together and as soon as i lastly connected the battery, the Motherboard of the iPhone XS Max started to smoke. I quickly disconnected the battery. What could be the cause? You have a short circuit on the logic board....
Chosen Solution I just have the same thing happen today… my Iphone4 just took a dip in the salt water really quick like 2 sec.. I did dry it off brifely.. but actually have to wait like 3 hours later when get to car to dry it off with air .. but not no respond.. My phone was out of battery when it got dip in the salt water.. so by then i try to dry it off n charging it....
Chosen Solution When I’m trying to open my iPod touch 5th gen (which is fully powered off), it starts booting but even if its booting my device shut itself down after a minute. During that time, we only see the Apple logo. With this, my home button is broken. Anyone can help me fix this issue with my beloved phone ??? I did a bit of research as of if it works, far as I can tell, Will the LCD from iPad mini 1 work on iPad mini 2?, Vice versa. But it marks me back to the original question, can I take the glass tough digitizer FROM the iPad Mini 2 (iCloud locked, For parts on eBay) and place it on my Mini 1?...

The handle in the Essential Electronics Toolkit has 3 o-rings on it, there is a very faint chance they could generate/store a charge, but doubtful. The fact the handle is aluminum and there is very little non-grounded surface on the o-rings makes it very safe....
Chosen Solution Being that the soft buttons are no longer attached to the charge port, i would think this would make changing out a charge port easier since no removal of the screen is nessicary, and other than the fingerprint sensor on the back glass with its flex cable, can anyone see why this would be easier or harder than previous models? joshr45 , Samsung Galaxy S8 has the charge port attached/soldered to the daughter board, The links below may help you decide if it is easier, the repairman in the video says it is easier....

Whenever I shut it down (Power button or Apple menue) it shuts down fine and once it is powered down immediatly starts up again. First I thought the power button was stuck or the keyboard cable not properly inserted, but even with the keyboard disconnected it keeps doing it. When running there it performs flawlessly. SMC or VRAM reset has not led to any change....
Chosen Solution So I came across a very weird issue. I havent used my mac in a little while until today. I went to plug in the charger and it wouldn’t charge. There is not light on the connector and the mac was not showing it is connected. Tried resetting SMC but didn’t work. Now, the strange part… I was trying to clean some dust inside the connector port on the mac itself....

Chosen Solution Well, i lend my friend the controller. and he not taking care of it and spoiled the mini usb. it cant be charged but all buttons remain can be use ng kai wei, follow this guide to remove the logic board. Then unsolder the USB port and replace it. Once you have it out, you may have to try places like mouser.com or digikey.com to find a replacement....

Front camera, speaker and everything else works fine, just proximity/light sensors don’t work. Does anyone know why this might be? Chosen Solution I put my 32 gb sd card in my phone, when I formatted it ,i picked use as a portable storage. Now I’m trying to download some game and it’s telling to take some stuff off to make room and I’m not understanding why stuff can’t transfer over to the sd card so I’ll have room. (it’s possible that the iPhone 7 was dropped) The flash will not work if the rear camera has failed. So the first thing to do is to try a known-good rear camera. That would solve both problems at the same time. If the replacement camera doesn’t work, than you likely have an issue on the logic board....

Phone is booting but touch does not work. I measure supply voltages for Meson and Cumulus, there are all OK. I check connector for short and fuses also. All is okej. I replaced Meson and Cumuls from working iPhone 5s....
Chosen Solution My iPhone 3GS won’t hold charge, I have to plug it into my laptop for it to power on. It then shows the connect to iTunes screen and iTunes asks if I want to restore it. Every time I try to restore it, everything is downloaded but hallway through, iTunes gives me an error 2001 every time. I’ve tried what Apple said to do, everything is up to date but that still doesn’t help....
