Chosen Solution Hi Guys. So My 2011 MBP has developed a fault where the trackpad works completely fine when plugged in using the power adapter. As soon as I disconnect the charger, the trackpad becomes very jittery and its practically un-usable! I have replaced the battery since there was a message saying “Service battery soon“, but its made no difference. Ive read on other forums where people have the reverse issue where it works on battery but not when plugged in....

Chosen Solution It is only going in less than 1/16" and won’t lock down. I have tried a bit of tape for leverage, I have a good angle on it, it just won’t go in. I have the midwall off, and I have plenty of room, it just refuses to go in and lock. what am I doing wrong? Thanks. I finally figured it out, and maybe this will help someone else....

Chosen Solution Hello, after the GPU issue, Apple replaced my MacBook Pro 2011 Logicboards. Afterwards I had multiple issues with my MacBook Pro were the Logicboard had to be replaced again and again. Now the Reseller said that Apple replaced the sensor starting in 2011 were it is possible that after replacing the HDD with a SSD causes the error because the firmware of the harddisk delivers information which are misinterpreted by the MacBook Pro....

Chosen Solution I am trying to repair my MacBook which for over a year has not been able to recognize my headphones. I checked all the resistors filters and found R6700 missing. It might have fell off for whatever reason. I tried to reattach r6700 from a donor board but ended up making things much worse by losing one of the solder pads after I ran flux and solder over it....

Chosen Solution I have an emerson eb654 pool pump. The motor was turned off for cleaning, about 15 minutes. It had been running fine for 3 years. When I went to restart motor, all it will do is hum. motor shaft turns freely with no obstructions. all connections clean and dry. thanks, Rob. Chosen Solution This is the aluminum model that has two hex screws on the end of the hinge and several Toru screws underneath. Right now there is no resistance at all and I have to wedge something in place to get a decent angle. Yes, it is possible, but its not designed to be adjusted by hand. i suspect that if the display is drooping, either something has snapped, which cannot be repaired, or the spring has stretched....
