Try a compression check. It sounds to me like you blew a head gasket or maybe even the head. But look here too. -OR- The case could be over filled with oil. The rings could be worn depending on the age/hours....
Chosen Solution Moved refrigerator laying it on side to transport now after plugging it on will not cool what should be done now. Anonymous 8526, what you need to do is leave it up right for at least a day before plugging it in. This will allow the oil to hopefully run back into the compressor. Sometimes that’s all it needs. Other times not so lucky. This can cause restrictions in the sealed system and can be very costly....

Chosen Solution I had bought several lcd + digitizer replacements from different seller around eBay. Some of them send good lcd + digitizer replacements and after several purchases some lcd + digitizer replacements have this flaw when applying a little pressure around the lcd + digitizer replacement. And is that after installing them they will show some stress marks on top and bottom of the lcd + digitizer replacement when applying a little bit of pressure....

It comes on for a bout a min. or so and then the screen starts to darken to the point where there is no bright lit areas. Chosen Solution The right button on my Logitech MX510 mouse has stopped working reliably. Sometimes it works with normal pressure, sometimes only with a lot of pressure, and sometimes not at all. Occasionally it will “ghost click” with no pressure at all. Any ideas on how to fix it? You might try a brief spray of contact cleaner on the switch. I would first test where it wouldn’t show to make sure the cleaner won’t damage the finish....

Chosen Solution After my battery almost died (service battery warning), I replaced it with a used one (a friend gave me) coming from a Late 2010 MacBook Air that was in a good shape (666 cycles but still at 90% capacity). After that replacement the CPU frequency doesn’t scale, staying at 0.8 GHz. I had to remove the MacBookAir4_2.plist from the ACPI_SMC kext in order to make it at least usable (without that, kernel_task was taking all the resources and making the computer totally unusable)....

I sent to apple for diagnostic, which initially they assume it should be whether the logic board or the display, and after 4 days they said that it’s the display and the cost to replace it would be around £450. I did not sent for repair, but instead I sent it to iSmash (a repair shop in the UK) for diagnostic, and after running the diagnotic for a week, they said it is not the LCD that is broken, but the ‘backlight ic’ on the motherboard?...
Chosen Solution So, I spilt coffee on my macbook and tried to fix it by cleaning it with isopropylalkohol. Right now when the charger is plugged in the fan runs, the red dot is shown and it boots after a while. Unfortunately every time it boots it shows the apple logo and a loading bar which loads to about 1/3 before it shuts down, it then immediately boots up again. It will keep starting, loading and dying until I unplug the charger which it dies....

I tested all 3 microphones with Auphonic app and by recording video and all of them sounds like someone blowing air directly to microphone. On bottom microphone my voice is barely heard. Chosen Solution continuous beeping even with test leads removed. checked battery and opened it up with no showing of corrosion or something shorting anything. Fuse still intact also did not work with high voltages. Was checking some dead phone batteries at the time and when got back to it it kept beeping. does not want to work in any other mode at all. I would have to agree with Flying Dutchman it’s not worth putting any money in or time since you can buy a new for less but I strongly recommend fluke meters if you can they are roughed reliable and accurate....

It boots on an external ssd connected to one of the thunderbolts ports since the internal drive died.
